New one
Friday I was working on a commercial (Speedway if anyone cares). The production company had rented a studio that I have never worked in before. Anyway, I was wearing my green workman's UK. At one point in the late afternoon, since I had never been there before, I was just looking around. The studio employees were having some kind of party/client meeting/thing and there were several bottles of wine.
As I headed back to the shoot, one woman stopped me, being very interested in the kilt. Gave here a card and went back to work. About 15 min later she shows up again, and asks, "So do you ever FREEBASE?" Now obvioulsy she was a little tipsy, and I knew what she meant, so I just tossed out a non commital answer. However, the production assistant that was standing next to me was very confused. He thought people were about to break out the cocaine and go to town.

I would most certainly thought she was trying to drug it up! "Freebase" not a term to be confused with "Free...er other things"

I will remember that term, as I am returning to the fast lane at a different highway of life.

Hmm...'freebase'.....a little different from the normal usage of that term. Well, a guess we can adopt that term seeing how wearing my kilt is the BAS(E)is for my FREEdom
