Good Morning All -
I joined a little while ago, but with "LIFE" going on haven't had time to get involved until now. I haven't even had a lot of time to explore the site adequately, but hope to do so in the next few days. From what I've seen so far though, I'm impressed.
A bit of background ... I've been making kilts most of my life. I learned from my late Mum, who apparently learned from my grandfather (although I don't remember meeting him). It's more or less a sideline for me, since I have a "day job", but I love it. My wife says she'd rather stick a needle in her eye than hand-sew a pleat, but since I also do all her alterations, and she's happy to tile the bathroom, it's a great division of labour and it's ALL GOOD.
Anyhow, time to get ready for that "day job", but perhaps I'll hear from a few of you when you get a chance.

Welcome from Georgia USA. It's always nice to have another experienced kiltmaker to learn from.

Sooo........
If someone were to send some tartan in your general direction, you would be able to make them a kilt for how much?!!!
I have NO TIME to do this any more and could sure use another source!
