I think I can probably spell "geotactical", errrr . . . "geotabernacle" . . . errr . . . well, I was going to say I could spell it 3 times out of 4, but maybe not . . . am I still qualified?
Seriously, I'm curious -- I don't think I've heard of that field of engineering -- what do they do?

They are soils (dirt, sand & rock) engineers, they analyze the sub surface composition and properties of soil to determine the soil bearing capacity among other things.

This should start a lively discussion
My own 2 cents...I'm quite fond of PEI and NS, my family has roots in those provinces. But for living by the sea and the mountains (two important items), BC is hard to beat.
For those perks, I might consider moving if you looking for a licensed hydrogeologist
