Kilt Chairs!
Kilt Chairs!
a wee bit o' history....
Kilt Chairs were no actually designed fur kilts in the fierst place....
they were designed fur corners....
the earliest yins ai remember, frae me Graduate School days, dated back tae the Italian Renaissance.... (the chairs... no me!)
the REAL fierst Kilt Chair was probably a rock...
like this yin...
but later...during the 18th century an the time o' Queen Anne... there were plenty o' corner chairs...
an in the Victorian age... (when kilts were a' the rage again...)
these auld corner chairs started bein used as kilt chairs....
here arr some examples....
this is a splat back corner (kilt) chair...
