    Kilt Jacket No 3

Found this little beauty in a charity shop. I wanted to have a plain jacket for every day use, so a simple conversion.
    Before, modelled by my grandson

    Proper before picture.

As you can see the pucka thing.

    The finished jacket.

    View from the rear.

I think it looks the part.

A nice conversion, it's one of the best I've seen. The Harris Tweeds look great with the kilt.

Very Nice. The radius of the sporran cut-away looks perfect!

    That looks nice.

I have done one that way and I have another jacket that I recently purchased at the thrift store that I will take to the alteration shop soon. I got the idea a few months ago from Matt Newsom's blog.

Between these photos and your accompanying explanations, I now know what went wrong with my first and I'm ready to start on my second jacket conversion, a grey one for day use (not tweed, but I'm still looking).
