Welcome back!
I want to be the first to say -
The upgrades of the forum and portal software are finally complete. We're still buffing up some of the rough edges, but I hope within the next week or so, the last 15-16 hours will be no more than a bad memory.
I've been adding some functionality to the forum and I hope you will all be able to realize some benefit from them. As mentioned earlier, you now have the option of viewing your current weather conditions on the portal page.
You will also notice there is a new module at the bottom of the forum home page, to show all the members that have been logged into the forum today. And I've added a couple of tweaks to that module, so you will be able to see the search engine spiders that are visiting this site.
As changes and updates are made, I will try to keep adding to this thread, so you will be able to see and understand more of what is happening in this asylum we call X Marks.

I like all the new smilies!!! Thanks!!
On a different tangent -- I usually access the forum in "new post" mode after I log in, and I really like the abiliity to quickly see all the posts since I last visited. However, on occasions, I remember that I want to reply to a post that no longer shows up on the "new" list. To do that, I've been clicking on the "Portal" link, then the "Forums" link from the portal, then the forum category . . . is there a short-cut way to get from the new posts listing to the main forum page? Thanks!

All I want is a way to get directly to the main forum page. The Forum page button leads me to:
Not Found
The requested URL /forum/forum.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I am not sure if this is a Safari/Mac issue, everyone, or just me.
Agian, Mike, thanks for all your work and your 13+ hour day!

Mike, looks great. I love the quick reply feature. I always found it a pain to have to go to a new page for a reply.
Will check out some of the other features.
