Funny man.....I know how you feel. Been waiting for a month or so for an Rkilt, but it'll be all the sweeter on arrival.

    Grumble grumble grumble....

For me, they don't "take" too long...they "make" too long....

Do enjoy the Leatherneck tartan kilt.

    Ron,

Bite the bullet! Find someone who will hem up a Stillwater at a reasonable price and get a Leatherneck Heavyweight when Jerry gets them in stock.
Anyone who can be a Marine, walk away from a destructive addiction, and to top things off finally stand up in a kilt and give a serious presenation to a bunch of at risk High School kids shouldn't be thwarted by a couple inches of tartan.

You have been grumbling about the Stillwater lengths since I joined, it's time for you to do something about it!

Will Ron find a tailor? Will the infamous Riverkilt-Stillwater feud come to an end? Will Riverkilt give Panache the pummeling of his life for his annoying post? Stay tuned true believers...

    Cheers

    Coming to Panache's Rescue

    Ron,
If you promise not to give Panache the thrashing he so richly deserves I'll make you a deal...order a Leatherneck, mark where you want the hem to fall, send it to me, and I'll hem the sucker for you myself...no charge!

Hey...if you can't help a clansman out what's the point?

I have to agree with Panache, Ron. For the $44 it cost for a Stillwater economy, is it not worth just checking out the fit. It's acylic and you may be able to hem it yourself (or any friends) with some basic sewing or it may fit alright from the get go. It's acrylic not $60/yard wool so who cares if it doesn't look like Hector Russel did it up. You'll never know until you try. For $50 it's probably worth the attempt.

By all means get the Leatherneck traditional in the future, but give stillwater a shot. That way you will know for sure it they are an option for the future or not. Look what happened when you finally decided to order a USA Kilt. How many do you have now?

I am interested in a review once you get this kilt. I hope you can nurse that SWK jones for a few more minutes.
