Wonderful time in Seaside Ore!!
Elva and I spent the day at the sea at Seaside.
The weather was almost sunny and warm, but there was no wind so the weather was wonderful for a long walk on the beach there was very few people so we almost had the beach to our selves.
As we returned to the turn around and civilization, a gentleman stopped me and said he thought my kilt was beautiful (he was in jeans) and I thanked him very much and we continued on to down town.
We later drove to Cannon Beach to Bill's Tavern for a beer and food.
As you can see I wore my my new saffron wool SWk kilt.

Cannon Beach and Bills Tavern is one of my favorite get aways
we've been going there for about 15 years now,
I try to make it there at least once a year.
spent last Christmas there with wife and sons and it was a grand experience.
Don't be posting too many pictures we wouldn't want it to be overrun with the Kilties. Bills Tavern would run dry of their great micro brews.

You bring back boyhood memories of the Oregon coast, thanks.
Haven't been back to Oregon since 1968 - still drying out down here after 20 years of being rained on.
Do they still have the Seaside Riots? Was a big deal back when I was a college boy in the 60's.

No riots for many a year!

I don't know why you moved from the left coast to the right but we still have room if you want to return.

We manage to darken Bills door two a three times a month for many a long years and I have NEVER seen another kilt there or even on the coast, except little old me.

Any day on the Oregon Coast is usually a good one!
Good to see a fellow Oregonian on the coast in a kilt!
Glad it wasn't too windy, as CAN be the case,
