Good bye To an old Mate
Today I went to a funeral of an old mate "Brian" he has had a long illness and he always like to see me in a Kilt so Photo taken at his Wake

Thanks Brian and I would talk about this web site, and he was aware of the outcome of his illness and asked if I would posted ref. his going and a photo of me in a kilt

Derek, condolences on the loss of your friend. That's a smart looking outfit. I usually wear my black heavyweight kilt when attending funerals. Sadly when you reach our age there are far more funerals to attend than there are christenings or weddings.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend. I think you did a great job honoring him and sure he'd be smiling to see you in a kilt at the funeral.
On a POSITIVE note, your kilt and jacket look smashing! Looks very much like an outfit that WE have coming down the pike VERY soon...
