I heartily agree that family is everything. Yours looks wonderful. That scenery is gorgeous, looks a lot like the B.C. interior. Thanks for sharing.

YES! Galena is about 11 miles northwest of the farm. Chestnut Mt. Ski Area is about 4 miles away. We've owned this place as a summer/weekend vacation home since 1963, and seen all the changes this area has undergone as it was "discovered" by wealthy Chicagoans. I will be going again this summer, so maybe we can get together out there. I'd LOVE to hear piping echo through the hollow.

Oh definitely!!! A rabble of Gordons always equals a great time! I'm sure the hill would just sing with the sound of pipes.
