    tartan background on myspace

    Okay...I'm clueless. Can someone direct me on how in the world to set a tartan for a background on myspace. I've tried and tried and tried and my myspace powers are weak.

    The easiest way (if you are not HTML savey... like ME) is to find a Myspace layout generator that will allow you to set an image for your background. THere are a bunch of them out there, just do a google search or whatever.

    the hardest part of that is that not all tartan images will be repeat- (ie: background-) friendly.

    I have a tartan background on myspace. here's how I did it:

    first I found a tartan pic I liked.
    then I messed around with the colors in photoshop to make it more mine.
    then I uploaded the pic to myspace

    now here's the tricky code part

    i typed this into the "about me" part of my profile

    <!-- --> --> --> --> --> BODY {background-image: url(http://a271.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...940760ef76.jpg); background-repeat }

    now you see that part that comes up there as a link? that's the location of my tartan pic. JUst cut that part out and put in the location of YOUR tartan pic.

    my myspace has nuthin in it but you can take a look here

    If you have a picture of the tartan I can host it on my webspace for you. After that its a matter of coding. Just let me know.

    You may have to crop your image so that it repeats properly. Is that the Warrior tartan?

    Cloves' isn't Warrior. It looks like Thistle Duhb, but I may be wrong.
    Big Paul's is Murry of Atholl.
