How big would a Piece of leather have to be for a sporran? just want to know what You think
I have not made my own sporran as yet, however many people here have why not take a look in the DIY section, you could also go to a tartan shop or take a look a sporran that you already have, and figure it out from there.

Camo leather, post pics when your done. I was thinking of making one in nylon in the nightstalker style fo when I get/make a camo kilt.
For this type of sporran I've been guestimating I use about 2.5 square feet of leather, because there's some inevitable waste when you cut curves.
