Stiring Patriotic Clip

Following the links from The Corries Scotland the Brave on You Tube, I made it to a clip of Flower of Scotland.

In this clip is a part from a Soccer Match in which Scotland is competing. Check out them singing Flower of Scotland before the match. Gives me chills to see it.

Can you imagine an American sports team singing the National Anthem with such passion? I've never seen it. Perhaps because we choose to compete only against American Football teams and call them World Champions

Great clip, that version of Flower of Scotland has been in my mp3 for a year or so now.

Can you imagine an American sports team singing the National Anthem with such passion? I've never seen it.

I have heard the Canadian national anthem thousands of times, but it never quite compares to when the entire crowd at a hockey game sings it. It exceeds all demographics of the people attending and is a crowd becoming one in pride. It's pretty cool.

Very stirring! Got chills! I had heard that they were to lead the singing at the match, but Roy took a turn for the worst and was not well enough to do it. I can only imagine the impact of the sound of that many people singing it live. The recording doesnt do it justice.

Lots of good Corries songs on youtube. I found "The Roses O' Prince Charlie" on there. One of my favorites!
