We have a new member
But she is shy. She asked me do to this for her. She felt that it was important to finally leave a little footprint in this world. She wanted to be a part of something, and really wants to come out of her shell. She wants the world to know her a little better.
Please welcome Jadewink.
You can send private messages and what not to her, and I will read them to her. (She is dyslexic, and has some trouble there, but she isn't dumb)
She has been looking over my shoulder for quite some time at this forum, and I have shown many picture posts to her, and read quite a few posts as well. (She likes the pictures) She would like to get an XMarks kilt pin, we are already planning for her first kilted skirt, and she is ready to make her mark on the world. This is just the first of many steps on a long journey.
I know many of you already know her, and now she is a member. I might try to sit her down and actually try to get her to post... If worst comes to worst I'll type for her under her account, but it'll be her words.

Likewise, welcome Jadewink! We hope you feel comfortable enough to post soon.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Jadewink, a thousand welcomes from the land between the rivers! (That would be the Shenandoah and the Potomac, specifically.)

Hi. What's up. Thank you for making me feel welcome. What's it like in Wales? I've never been there. I'd like to see Wales. Thing about it is I am scared of airplanes and boats. And I have never traveled. And I am scared of the water.
I am trying to think of words to say but really don't know what I am doing. I am really new at this. Never done anything like this before.
Goodbye for now. This is all I could think of.

May I suggest that you search Cessna152Towser's and McClef's threads and travel to wonderful places without leaving the computer! They have an artistic eye, take such beautiful pictures and give wonderful comentary. If you ask really nicely I'm sure C152T will take us on another flight around Scotland.
