Talking The Fruits of my Overboard purchases!

Well, all my purchases are in. Still waiting on my sons kilt to arrive. scheduled to be here tomorrow..but it will not be until the weekend of the 17th when I have him here to model it for us.

But in the mean time...I have photos of mine. Beware..these are self portraits...and it's hard to get that camera to line up when I'm not in the pic frame to do so!

The first is two pics of my stillwater standard in Black Stewart. first with dressy shirt, second with T-shirt.

The next one is the Utilikilt I got today. It is the Original style with a mossy oak camo pattern. wearing my new 'Brotherhood of the kilt' T-shirt with it. I really like this one. it sits on the hips like jeans, and with the cargo pockets it's gonna be PERFECT for my outing with my son when we go hiking and fishing at the local state forest. I think this could quickly become my new favorite!

I'm now up to 4 kilts in my personal arsenal....and waiting impatiently for this Ohio weather to warm up just a bit more so I can start wearing them out!

Congrats! I really like the UK in camo. Never been a fan of camo for regular wear, but that looks great.

    Looking good (and serious) Rygar.

I agree, there is no added experience like going out kilted in the cold. Something basic and primative (manly) about the cold around your legs but nice and toasty under the pleats.

Congrats on the ever expanding collection (only 73 more to catch up with Hamish).

Looks good I have been contemplating the Black Stewart for some time now, I will second or third the braving of the elements kilted, there is nothing quite like it, and I know how cold it has been in Ohio as I am almost directly north of you we tend to get the same weather, just strap on a kilt and away you go you will be amazed at the warmth of it.

Just take a look here for example:

And there are other examples all over the forum, try it out.

Hey, that's not bad at all. Tough trying to take your own picture, but you pulled it off well.

    Enjoy the kilts!

That looks good. I've been wanting one of those Black Stewart standards for a while now ... may have to finally order one.
