    off to the games

Well gents, thanks to AlanH for throwing around some heavy weights with me about 2 months ago, and to my "little" brother (BilC) for calling me out - tomorrow I'll be competing at the Rhino Games. At 5' 8" and 175 lbs. I'm not planning on doing more than having a good time and learning a lot. If, however, you all don't hear from me for awhile it only means I forgot to get out of the way of the weight over bar as it was coming down. But never fear, as long as it lands on my head I should be alright. I'll let ya all know how it goes.

<deep Mr. T voice> Yeah! A true Scot don't need no helmut - a tartan do-rag should do just fine.

    <resume normal voice> Go, Tim.

Hope you had a good time competing for the first time! Too bad you're not in my part of the country, so i wouldn't be the smallest guy out there for a change.

Hope you did well! We're about the same size, and I can tell you that my size has never been an impediment to my ability to have a good time and occasionally do well on the field. Mostly it's about the friendships and the fun!
