Speechless...
So I dropped my daughters off to school the other day and then stopped at the local convenience store to get a paper and drink. There were 3 telephone maintenance vans in the parking lot and the drivers from all 3 were gathered on the sidewalk in front of where I parked, but offset so that they could not see me get out of my truck. I got out and went to walk past them toward the door of the store. There were 2 men and 1 woman. The first guy was telling a lively story to the other 2. As I cam around the corner of my truck and he caught sight of me, he went silent in the middle of a sentence and just stared! I walked by him and did not say anything (although I was dying laughing on the inside!). I got my drink and paper, chuckling the whole time, then paid and walked back out. The same 3 people were still standing there and the first guy immediately starts apologizing! "I am so sorry, you got out and I just never expected that!". I said no problem, it was a common reaction, and went on my way. But I was chuckling the whole day. He was not being mean or derogatory, just got surprised, but his reaction was priceless!

That's an easy one though, just ask them to fix something or clarify a charge.

I can't say I've left anyone speechless, but i did cause a serious double take one day. I was leaving work one day and walking to my car. Someone driving past glanced at me, then whipped his head back to take another look. His reaction was so extreme I'm surprised he didn't run into something.

I was at a bus stop yesterday when a lady pulled up to the stoplight. She glanced up, saw me- and froze. The light turned green and traffic started moving, except for her. She sat there staring. It took the guy behind her three blasts of his horn to get her going again.
