    USA Kilts US Army Tartan

It arrived in the mail this morning. The quality is what we've all come to expect from Rocky & Kelly: superb. Guys have been asking for pics, so here you go:

The sporran also came from USA Kilts; the belt and pin did not. The boots, as you've come to expect, are steel-toed. This is my back deck. The kilt is fresh out of the box.

This is my first new kilt since losing weight -- and about 3-4 inches off my waist size. Several of my kilts just don't fit anymore, so it's good to have at least one that's perfect. (Or near perfect. The order was placed a while ago, and I could go another inch lower off the waist.)

Awesome kilt! The sporran is hanging a bit low, but that is easily fixed! Lookin' good.

True. I forgot that a smaller waist means I need a shorter sporran chain. And that belt is almost on its tightest setting, and it's still loose. Upon further reflection, that belt doesn't work in a casual outfit, anyway.

    Thanks for the compliments, all.

And guys - just a note about the loops. Do you see in the picture of the back how the belt through the loops tugs the horizontal yellow stripe up and out of line and distorts the back of the kilt? That's what Matt and I have been talking about as being the problem with wearing a belt through the loops.

Very nice kilt, though, and congrats on losing weight!
