    Camo Kilt

Anyone ever seen one of these? I liked the idea (never thought I'd go for a camo) but I ordered one anyway. I'll let you know what it's like after it gets here. In the mean time, thought you might want to see.

A "kilt" that buttons up the front apron seems like a not kilt to me.

It's how utility kilts were started. That's what Steven did, he took a pair of cargo pants and turned it into a kilt....been done before

I love camo kilts! Have a bunch of them...more if you count the caramel UK workman's that disappears on Navajo sandstone and the White UK original and workman's that disappear in snow.

Historic UK Original Medical White snow camo kilt.

    Historic AmeriKilt Tiger Stripe camo.

There are so many camo's out there....collect them all.

    Go Camo...!

    wow riverkilt,
that's a lot of blue ink in your back piece.
for those that don't know, colors go in slower than black ink does,
blue is a very slow color!
that much blue is a mark of real endurance.

to the best of my knowledge the only color that goes in slower is Deep Purple.

Camo kilts are great; they'll take you places you'd never think of going in a wool tartan kilt. Here's a sampling of camo kilts I've made as I began my kiltmaking adventure. They're all simple - no pockets, cargo holds, metal buckles, etc. - just pleated cotton or poly/cotton with web belts and 2" plastic buckles.

    Kilt on!

    Way2,

You amaze me. If I sew I bleed. I admire such talent.

That Southwest2 in the center of the top row would be PERFECT camo at a rattlesnake farm!!

    Riverkilt,

I'm jealous of the genuine MARPAT. Has anyone else made those? (or been able to get their hands on the fabric?)
