Freelander review
A while ago I decided I needed a black daywear sporran. I thought I would order a Freelander, being in Canada I thought I would order it from Steve at Freedom Kilts.
I got in touch with Steve and even though he did not have any just black sporrans from Freelander, he was extremely helpful considering he was not even selling his own product. I did get in touch with our own David regarding a sporran, and was quite impressed with his attitude and how professonal he was with me, well the other day I had a package in my mailbox.
I had just come home from work and was wearing my brown daywear sporran and accesories, well I changed into black accessories as fast as could be. Let me tell you if you dont have a freelander sporran do yourself a favour and order one, I have never been as impressed with any sporran as I am with my new freelander. I can hold so much more in this sporran than in any of my other sporrans. The finish and the workmanship in this piece are absolutely top notch and David was just a pleasure to deal with. I have had nothing but compliments about it everywhere I have gone.
Here I am wearing it, with my niece Elizabeth:

Well done McMurdo. I think you will quickly find it to be your favorite (and most voluminous) sporran.
Welcome to Clan Freelander!
Cheers

At least he's probably housebroken - and he has a rabies tag, so that's taken care of...
A great looking sporran (and wee one, and pup, too)!

Ditto. I've heard nothing but good about Freelanders, but I have yet to see one in person. You're going to have to wear it to the SOKS meetings so we can all have a look.

Since it showed up its the only sporran I wear, to bad you could not make it out to the Glengarry Bhoys last night I wore it there, and yes I will have it on for the next SOKS night out no worries there.

Something I forgot to say, but it really did impress me was the fact that the sporran is signed, dated and numbered, it really makes it special.

Thanks Jamie it is my favorite sporran already, and I can fit about twice as much in it as any of my others.

The wee dug seems to be noticing that you did have an empty arm.
A signed and numbered model, eh? Hmph, I now see what that Freelander character thinks of me. All kidding aside, I am now down to one sporran and that is my Freelander. I keep thinking I should purchase a dressier sporran for more formal wear, but it's yet to happen. I'm eying a another tartan that will require brown accessories and if I make that decision, I suppose I will own a single brown sporran, as well.
He'll likely not sign that one either...
