    Lucy goes to Scotland

Just saw an episode of Lucy goes to Scotland. Filmed in B&W and it looks like entirely in the studio. Ricky wears the whole nine yards complete with Tam and hackle.

Probably most of us remember Lucy from the TV shows but if you ever see her in any old movies from the thirties (and you're a guy...I should qualify this!) you will find that she had some serious schwing factor back in her early career.

    Lucy in a kilt?

Yeah, I saw part of that one recently. The local dragon wants to eat her because she is a McGillicuddy. When Ricky McCardo offers himself in her place, the dragon refuses because Spanish food gives is heartburn.

Showing my age here, I remember that episode on TV! Fred and Ethel played the two headed dragon! "A McGillicuddy is here!!! The town would throw the dragon a McGillicuddy as a sacrifice. They were real happy to see Lucy because her maiden name was McGillicuddy. Funny stuff! They definately don't and won't do it like that anymore. It's sad. Good family fun.
