    Acting like a kid

Down from my house is a creek that all the area kids play in.Well today me being the cool mom I got invited to go to.Flashed back to my days of being goofy in the creek down my great grandparents house and realized its just not deep enough. So my idea was make a dam and we did.Had a blast got soaked covered in mud .Caught tadpoles played with turtles lol.Today I was a great big kid I laughed till my sides hurt but tommorro Ill feel it.Know this isnt kilt related but I had a blast with the kids.

It's not nearly warm enough yet to go swimming in the rivers up here.

Perfectly golden. If that's too hard; black.

No no no. The proper way is to stuff the marshmallow in between two graham crackers and a wedge of a chocolate bar.

    S'more please!

I had a day being a kid, too.

But in a really really different way: I got to pull two expensive pieces of electronic equipment *completely* apart. :-) And then put them back together again!

Wasn't just for the heck of it, unfortunately. An few thousand ants had decided to colonise the scanner bed of my multi-function printer and my film scanner. They even got inside the lighting assembly. I haven't tried out the film scanner since, but the MFP complains about a scanner error, so I think I've botched something somewhere.

But the actual pull-it-apart-and-see-how-it-was-put-together bit was kinda fun.

    Wade.
