    Smile Off to Scotland

    Hi folks,
Longtime reader, only once or twice poster.
My wife and I are off to Scotland for a couple of weeks starting Monday. And I thought the Jones for kilts was bad! We'll be on the Union Canal the first week and then all around the Loch Lomond area after that (ancestral homelands). Don't think she will let me take more than 3 kilts. Something about no more room in the suitcase. Maybe I'll have to stop at 21st Century Kilts and pick something up as a "souvenir". There's always room for stuff to come back from vacations, isn't there?
I will post pics when we get back.

    Later,
    Mo

No, I am a MacFarlane and my wife is a MacGregor. We are staying deep in Colquhoun country though. I just won't mention anything about their missing cows. Gee, it's 5:00am where I am, can't sleep thinking about this trip.

Oh and a tip...just south of Loch Lomond is Helensburgh...it's worth visiting the "Hill House" from Charles Rennie Mackintosh there.
