    Stillwater Thrifty Kilt

    Greetings All from a Newbie,

I ordered my first Kilt on Monday, and am now wearing it! Mon. to Thursday (MN to CA), very quick service.

Not knowing what to expect, I really like the SWK Thrifty Kilt. I'm a big guy, so I was concerned that the XXXL might not fit, but it does!! Quite nicely, I was concerned about a kilt feeling loose on me, but it just feels comfy

I got the Hunting McLeod Tartan, since my wife thinks it has too much yellow, I guess that means I'll have to get another!

Another obsession to add to my growing list.

    Cheers,

    Marshal Moroni

Pics! we need pics. I think you're on to something, if the wife doesn't like the current tartan, you just keep buying until you find one she likes....nice!

Congratulations on the new kilt, and as long as the kilt has too much yellow for your wife you could always show up in a Loud MacLeod, and show her what yellow really is.

    Welcome to the board Marshal,

Allow me to respectfully correct your wife; there is no such thing as TOO much yellow in a kilt.

Its right where it should be lad, in the top of me kilt hose. Ya gotta look close though because it camo's in with the landscape so well and the wee bit of yellow in the kilt pulls your eyes away from it.
