Time to say hello
I've been checking this site out for awhile, thought I should join. Kilts are not that uncommon here in Nova Scotia, and I've been wearing them for years. I have to say though, I've really learned alot since I have been reading these threads. This site is full of very knowledgeable (and really great) people. Look forward to learning lots more!

You have stumbled on a great site of friendly people who are more than willing to help in many different areas. Welcome aboard!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Welcome aboard from Ontario. Hope you have the Nova Scotia tartan in your collection. Perhaps the best of the provincial tartans in my opinion.

I must agree with Grant: the Nova Scotia is on my short list of tartans to have!

No, not yet. It is a great tartan though, its one of the next ones on my list. So many tartans, so little time!
