Frugal Corner kilt on order!
I just placed an order for a 16 oz stock kilt in the Ancient Cameron of Erracht tartan.
According to Mark, this tartan is not yet in stock, so I'm sure I'll be waiting a couple of weeks, but I'll be sure to post some pictures and a quick review as soon as it arrives.

Can't wait to see the kilt. I just ordered some tartan material from them. I'm planning on trying to sew my own mini-kilt.

So here's an update:
I have yet to receive my stock tartan kilt.
I've called and spoke to Mark, and he said that it actually wasn't a stock kilt (didn't know this before I ordered).
He said (this was two weeks ago) that it would be in soon and I should have it within a couple of weeks. He said he'd call to give me an update. I have not received any kind of update as of today.
I called yesterday and left a voice mail. I have yet to receive any kind of response.
I must say, after all of the great customer service reviews on this forum, I'm quite surprised, and disappointed. My "stock" kilt has been on order for almost a month, and I've received no follow up from the Frugal Corner. Two of my emails also went unanswered.
To me, this is unacceptable.
I sure hope this kilt is worth what everyone claims it is.

I haven't ordered from frugal corner, but as a casual reader of this board, I know the owner has faced some recent health issues, and all prior reviews have been positive. seems like you need to let this play out before jumping to conclusions

They are in conflict because before I ordered my kilt, I knew that it was not in stock, but was told it would be in stock within a week. When I placed my order, it was to have been in stock within 5 days, according to the Frugal Corner. Does that make sense?
There have been some issues with other customers, if you go back far enough. I'm not the first. I was unaware of any personal issues (because I'm not a regular reader), but there are two guys running this company. It seems one of them should have been able to get in touch with me.

I Ordered Two Kilts From Them Back On Jun 19. I Did Not Here From Them Till I Posted On This Site. I Spoke To Mark The Next Day Jun 29 Or 30, And He Told Me They Were On Back Order, And I Would Have Them Soon. I Just Hope They Come Before I Go Away On The 29th.
I Also Ordered A Canvass Kilt From The Scottich Tartan Museum Back On May 10 Im Still Waiting For That I Got One Email Saying That They Were On Back Order And They Would Be In Any Day That Was About 2 Or 3 Weeks Ago Still Waiting.

Sorry For The Typing I Dont Know What It Is. It Looks Fine On My Computer Hear At Work, But My Job Has A Lot Of Security Features On The Computers So That Might Be Why It Looks The Way It Does. But Like I Said On My End It Looks Fine.

I would not blame the Frugal Corner. It sounds like it's the company on the other end, because they have not shipped out the tartan to Frugal Corner. They (Frugal Corner) is merely the middle man in the situation. This is as I understand it from above statements.
I too, have personally waited on a kilt. An extra month and a half. So I understand what you feel. There's usually good reason. I also suspect that they are getting more business than they have before, suggesting that their supplier is having difficulty keeping up with orders.

But that doesn't address my concern about unanswered emails and my last phone call.
