Hi, there

my name is Thomas, I´m from Solingen/Germany and I would like to introduce myself here on this board.
Last weekend I had my first public appearance wearing a kilt.
OK- it was a scottish festival at Xanten/Germany, so a positive attitude towards kilts could be expected.
I tell you- I felt fantastic. How could I go unkilted all those years???
But seriously- It was only a question of time for me to wear a kilt, because my hobby, or should I better say my passion, is making jacobean dirks.
Well- someone here said, that kilt wearing is addictive. I confirm that. My first kilt is an inexpensive PV-black-watch-kilt , and I´m really happy with it, but now I know, that it has to be the real thing one day. I´m going to save my money for a 16oz Lochcarron Strome black watch ancient.
It was this board that encouraged me to come into kilting.
