Looking good Steve. by the look of the 2x4's they are actually 2x4's. IS it in the tourist section or are you more hidden from the mainstream?

WOW! What a great looking building.

Oh, man, what a classic house, and it'll be such a wonderful place to work every day!

The new shop is just around the corner from our current one.
We fought to stay in our neighborhood because we live just a block away. The "hood" is called Fernwood and is about a mile from downtown.
The house is great. The last commercially zoned building in our little village. And one of only two properties with its own parking lot.
3000 square ft. on three floors. It has room for other businesses on the top floor and in the basement. Each with its own entrance.
I know it will never happen but I put a sign on the door advertising "The Freedom Kilts Celtic Center". I would love to find tenants that make leather work, Silver jewelery or other kilt related products. I know it's just a dream, but think how great it would be if it came true.

Looks fantastic, Steve!
Any idea when you'll be moving in?
Hmmm, let's see... I could visit my sister in Puyallup, WA & my ol' school buddy in Seattle & then make a side-trip up to Victoria... How many hours from Seattle to Victoria?
(Of course, that's all predicated on my new passport ever emerging from the labyrinth of Federal incompetency. )
.
Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!

Nice pictures...It looks like your new place is and will be quite lovely when you done with your updates.
Retro-Red,
Victoria is 3+ hours away from Seattle. 3 hours or so to Vancouver then a ferry ride to Victoria. Check out: http://www.bcferries.com/
Or from Seattle take Victoria Clipper (ferry) to Victoria.

This route would be substanially more beautiful than the freeway.
FYI...don't need a passport for Canada. The gov't pushed back the deadline.
Cheers,
