SportKilt ships out of California----and if you think that's a jones, just wait until you've got a place in line waiting for your kilt maker to get to your order, and then hand sew it!

Just something to look forward to, is all.

Or, worse, for your kilt maker's cloth order to be woven, and shipped, and received, so you can be placed in line waiting for your kilt maker to hand sew it.

Aye! I'm dreading that---one day I'm going to order a custom woven length of tartan in the Kazakhstani district tartan, and then have a) a box pleated Matt Newsome kilt, b) a tank, and c) kilted skirts or other attire for my wife and daughters sewn. That's gonna be a loooooooooooooooong wait.

Exactly. I ordered my tank at the end of April, a few years back. The tartan had to be woven in Scotland before my kiltmaker could even think of sewing it. Between that and her workload, I barely had my kilt in time for my wedding in September.

A week or so doesn't seem so bad.

Soooo - what does the Kazakhstan district tartan look like? Maybe we can get Matt to order a special run in P/V and all get box pleats from him.

From my Sportkilt ordering experiences (two), they were received with very little delay as I eagerly watched each make their multistop journey to me via the fedex tracking site.
