    The Hound sgian

    Here's my latest two efforts:
This one is stained cypress carved into a Celtic hunting hound's head, with etched stainless blade. Once the sheath is finished, I'll probably put this one on Ebay & see how it goes.

Made this one for the young guy who works for us. It's Red deer antler between gidgee, with mallee burl spacers & an acrylic "stone". The blade is etched with the MacKay motto.

    Oh my, those are gorgeous!!!!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Those are beautiful! I know nothing about knife-making: how did you etch the blade?
