    Shoes....oh dear

So I just got my wedding outfit today (wedding is on Sat 21st) and there were no shoes. They forgot to order them. So I have about 7 days to get shoes.

Suggestions? what and where Do I get them.

Its a bonnie charlie top with the Irish national tartan.

what should I do for footwear.

But black ones with the Prince Charlie. Take it there are no highlandwear shops near you as they all keep them.

Any pair of black brogue style shoes should do the trick.

If you already have a pair of Black Dress shoes these will do. Here is a picture to illustrate:

You do not really need Ghillie Brouges In my opinion.

I quite agree. Brogues do not mean that you have to have long laces entwined around your legs! Those things are the least authentic items worn in formal outfits to-day. Ordinary polished black shoes will get you out of trouble.

Wing tip Doc Martens. I wore a pair for my wedding, and they worked super. They are, after all, "brogues."
