I was looking for references for the "ladies from hell" in WWI and stumbled across this wee bit of humour from the competitor to wikipedia: uncyclopedia. It makes a fun read and I have to admit, I did chuckle.

Ummm. I don't find this the least bit funny. Not at all. Is Uncyclopedia supposed to be some sort of satire site that I've missed?

If not then as far as I'm concerned this kind of crap should be shut down.

If it is then I say go for it BUT with some sort of disclaimer that the info on the site is a joke.

Dee, it is indeed a satire site. I think very few would see this site as such after reading the first few paragraphs. I'm having fits searching this site. You should search Canada. See if you really want to come bck up here.

For instance i was reading in this site about Northern Ireland and found this morsel that made me laugh;

Segregated traffic lights
continue to be used in
Northern Ireland. Protestants
