    Mah trip tae Ferintosh

I have dug out the kilted pictures of my trip, the other travelogue ones will follow later.

The Rabble at Cavens, enjoying a wee drinkie whilst waiting for the food.

In the street outside afterwards, admiring the sign post.

Alex's attempt to hide behind the sign post was not successful...

    Rabbie, whau's yer heid?

    Ah noo we sae it!

    Anaither wun wi' Rabbie.

In the Globe, Robertson points out the finer points of the dining room to Niall.

In the bedroom, Niall admires the graffiti scratched in the window glass.

    A few more kilted pics...

Kilted guide at Caerlaverock Castle, sporting the Historic Scotland tartan.

Robertson, Emma and me had a wee kilt night on our own on the Wednesday night. We tried a Hamish to celebrate my kilt #22 in McPherson Red from Andersons.

    And another attempt!

And enjoying a wee dram in front of Ferintosh.

    Here's tae ye!

I know mixing stripes and tartan may attract comment but it was the closest thing I had to colour co-ordinate with the new kilt!

I would also like to give my thanks to Robertson and Emma for being such wonderful hosts and excellent company, they really do go the extra mile!

    Excellent!

Fun to see pictures of fellow rabblers - and having been those places gives an even deeper appreciation of your experiences

Great shots! #22 is a guid yin! And, I actually think the stripes kind of work with it. Maybe I'm just in a weird mindset this morning... my opinion may differ later...

Super pics, Trefor, and congratulations on the new kilt.
Andersons Kilt Shop being so close to Ferintosh, always tempts the x-marker visiting Dumfries.
