Suggestions for XMTS Motto
It has been suggested that X Marks the Scot.com deserves it's own motto.
There was a previous poll for a vote on the phrase "By Choice, Not Blood". There was so much lively discussion there it only seemed fair to cancel that vote and put up a thread for some open talk about what motto would best represent us, or if we even need one.
Here are some that have already been suggested
-By Choice, not Blood
-By Choice
-In Kilts Fellowship
-In Kilted Fellowship
Are there any other ideas? Do we even need a motto?
Put your thoughts here and after we've had our say then, and only then let's put them to a vote.
Cheers
Jamie

I know it's a choice but the result of that choice is IMHO summed up in:
"-In Kilted Fellowship".
When you meet other X Markers, that is what you truly experience.

I like "In Kilted Fellowship" but I also think that "It's not a skirt" would do nicely as well.

I like this one a lot and it has my vote. It sums up why we are here and the common bond we share. It isn't pretentious, it's true, and if there isn't a good Latin Translation then too bad. It's us to a T.
Cheers

Let's try moving the words around:
Fellowship in Kilts
Kilts in Fellowship
Kilted Fellowship
Kilted (ones) in Fellowship
Part of thinks "Kilted" would be a good one in and of itself.
Anyone know the Latin for "kilt" (noun) or what the verb would be?
-Once we know the root, we can figure out the various forms that root would take in different parts of speech. (Parts of speech is VERY relevant for the Latin, as it is FAR more specific in word form than English.)
