Trip to Ireland #11
Here is a selection of pictures taken by me on my choir trip to Ireland.
On the Monday we left Carlow to spend a few hours in Dublin before heading back to Rosslare for the ferry home.
The quadrangle of Trinity College, Dublin.
The main entrance to Trinity College.
Part of the Bank of Ireland building, formerly the Irish Parliament (prior to the 1801 Act of Union), College Green, Dublin.
View of the palladian front of the building.
A traffic strewn O'Connell Bridge and O'Connell St, Dublin. It was named Sackville Bridge and Sackville St until 1924.
View from O'Connell Bridge looking eastwards along the River Liffey towards the green cupola of the Customs House.
More to come!
