Don't remind me... I have WAY too much work to get done before then!
In all seriousness... I can't wait! CC is THE celtic festival. Good music, good beer, good bands, good vendors (), what more could you ask for?

Who's going?
I'm expecting to be there with my SO, who's of German and Scottish extraction. Wondering if I'll be meeting anybody from this forum.

Rocky has a booth there every year, I usually go at least one of the days.

Won't be able to make it this year, running two road races that weekend and a marathon the next weekend. The Classic is always a good time and very well attended. You will probably see more than a few from this site.

I think it would be great to touch base with members of Xmarks. Since it is away from the hubub but very close I might suggest the lobby of the Hotel Bethlehem (time to be determined), but I am open to other suggestions. The hotel lobby might make it easier to find each other and then we can head back down to the festivities. It is a short walk.

I'm up for it, but I don't have a clear idea of the schedule of activities. Can anyone suggest a time? Oh, and where is the hotel?

There is something going on all the time, so it is difficult, but might I suggest 2:30 PM on the Saturday. The sheaf toss should be finished by then and the caber doesn't start until 4:00. It could be 2:00 if your willing to miss the sheaf toss (not my favourite event so it's fine by me). That should give those coming on Saturday time to get there and settle in.
The Hotel Bethlehem is easy to find...from the festival look up the hill towards the centre of town and it is the big building with the Hotel Bethlehem sign on it...sorry couldn't help myself. It is about a 2 minute walk from the festivities.
