    Bozeman kilt night, anyone?

Anyone for a Bozeman kilt night?

How about a Bozeman (and surrounding area) sound-off?

I would love to come, but I'm a little far away.
My fiance lived in Livingston for a few years, so she's convinced me we absolutely have to go to Montana at some point.
    Perhaps when I'm out there?

Dude! (That's what we say in Montana.) Screw that! I'm coming to your place! (Your profile says you're in Glasgow, no?)

I was in Scotland in July of this summer. Rainiest week I've ever spent anywhere, and I'm desperate to find a way to get back as soon as I can!! I spent most of the week driving around my family (wife, brother, parents) and for we left-handers your driving conditions are more than a bit stressful! Too much of my time was spent glaring at the 100 yards immediately in front of me and praying that I wouldn't shear off the right side of the vehicle on a passing lory (did I spell that right?). I need to go back to see the place more thoroughly and I'd love to do some cross-country walking trips.

I'm dearly hoping my boss will send me on the UK customer-visit trip next summer, as he dislikes traveling internationally and I've a new-found appreciation for it. We've recently been contacted by a potential customer in Edinburgh so... well, you see where I'm going with that line of reasoning!

If I make the trip next summer may I contact you beforehand? I'd love to meet with an international X-Marker. By then I expect I'll have funding for a genuine traditional kilt, and if you could steer me to a reputable maker then, well, you see where that like of reasoning is headed as well.

When you are headed to Montana please let me know. I'd be honored to show you about, and especially to show you some of the more spectacular sights in Yellowstone Park. If not that, perhaps we could meet for dinner and drinks.

Drooling....was up in Bozeman a few years ago - my pre-kilt era. Have an aunt and a couple Macdonald cousins there.

And, my late father grew up in Livingston...need I say more....(as strains of Jimmy Buffett's Livingston Saturday Night waft through the air...)

Its only a two or three day drive from here for an olde man....

Only just saw this, sorry for the late reply.
You're more than welcome to get in touch.
I will probably be living in Idaho by then, but I will be coming back here to visit the family next summer.
You might also want to contact Pour1malt. He does a fantastic kilt night and his guest house is kilt friendly. He'll give you a fine welcome.

We had two other (at least) members from Bozeman a while back. I don't think Lance or Philbo have been on the forum for awhile now.
