Wow!!
I'm an old Cold Warrior who cried when the Berlin Wall came down...but who would have ever thunk this!!??
Bet them pipers were having thoughts about where they were and how the World has changed.

My good friend Chris Tait has strolled through Red Square on several occasions dressed as Robert Burns:

And, best of all, he was recognized by many folks, including a number of school kids -- but the Russians love Burns as much as the Scots do.

Kremlin Zoria 2007
I was there as a piper with the Australian Federal Police Pipes and Drums. I can say it was an awesome event to be part of - so many firsts....the audience response was great, and so much interest in the pipes amongst the crowds as we walked back to our buses (the lassies loved the kilt!).
To be part of the finale with the Kremlin and St Basil's and the fireworks with the 1812 overture, and the audience response to the pipes playing traditional Russian melodies will last me a lifetime!

Not any particular one comment. I would just like a general feel of what was said. Did the majority of people that posted comments like of dislike the pipes, kilts etc?

Ah yes; I saw "The Wall" put up, and I saw it knocked down. And now, Pipers in the Kremlin! One never knows what to expect.
