Looking for a spicific color for flashes
I am looking for a pair of flashes to match an Arrow shirt I have. The color is called 'marine' but it looks like a dark royal blue.

Does anyone know if any vendors might sell flashes in this color? Thanks in advance for the help.

oooooooooooo - This is an easy one! Cut off the sleeves, and make it into a short sleeved shirt, and make hose flashes out of the cut-off sleeves!

OK - Now that I had a laugh at your expense. Here's the real answer.
Take your shirt to a fabric store and look at the cloth ribbon. You should be able to find a pretty good match in a well stocked store. Buy a yard of the ribbon and make your own quick flashes that way. A few quick turns of thread, and some fray-stop, and you are set to go!

If the monitor color held true I have a pair very close in color. No clue where I got them. For some reason I think Rocky may have recommended them with one of my USA Kilts casuals (??) try the USA Kilts website link above left on this page. Nope, not there, may have been a close out or my besotted memory banks are off track again.
Some Internet surfing of the middlemen providers of things Scottish might find you the color. Or if there are any Highland games coming up near you take the shirt and prowl the vendor tents.
Or, since you're in NYC and there are retailers there, take the shirt in and ask. Solid color flashes seem to come in all kinds of colors, but seldom a consistent set of colors unless the vendor is sticking to a basic few.

Try the Traditional garter ties from the Scottish Tartan Museum here is the link to the page with the garters. They are the most comfortable option that I've ever found.
