Argyll/Braemer with waistcoat
Yesterday I went to one of the local tartan shops, Cairngorm Scottish Imports, they are a Hector Russell store. I went out to pick up some dance ghillies as I have recently taken up Scottish Country Dancing, I am sure you are all aware of how dangerous a place like this can be for a guy like me. They had some Argyll jackets on sale I had heard about the sale a while ago, so when I saw the jackets yesterday there was one jacket left in my size. I am very pleased with the jacket and waistcoat, Hector Russell has some very nice merchandise.
One thing that I was not too sure of was that the sleeve detail is a Breamar style but the salesman assured me that it is indeed an Argyle, he said that Hector Russell calls these Argyll jackets regardless of the sleeve detail, whatever you call it I am impressed and think that this outfit will fill the gap between my Prince Charlie and my Brown Harris Tweed Argyll.
Here is a picture:

Indeed it is and in this picture McMurdo is providing an excellent example of what it expresses.

Well done Glen but please never tell me how little you paid as I just ordered byself pretty much the same (including the colour). Now we're going to be confused for twins except that I'm a foot taller, clean shaven, have gorgeous flowing locks, a personality and I've never allowed myself to be kilt checked.

Very nice! I'm jealous you have a Hector Russell so close by. One ofthese days I need to catch a plane up there and go shoppin'.

Let us know when you do I'm sure we could show you around a bit, you know make sure you're safe and keep you out of the pubs
By the way the kilt is a Graham of Mantieth and it was also from Hector Russell.
