That's my Navik, which I swear by, though Plastimo seems to have stopped manufacturing them. The vane has a name....it's...of course, "Vanessa". She steers for hours without complaining, doesn't drink any of the skippers beer, and doesn't care if it's cold and wet!

Quite right too. We have a Sailomat and the vane is called James after Captain James Cook who charted many of the Pacific Islands and New Zealand.
