Foothills Games November 3rd
Well the end of the Carolinas Highland Games season is
at hand.
The final games will be the Foothills Games in Hendersonville on
Saturday November 3rd.

We can bat around a time and place to meet up when they get their
schedule up.
A note on the music, I hear that Neil Anderson will be
piping with the Rogues. For those who do not know him
he is the main piper for group Rathkeltair and the original piper for
7nations.

Need to get one more games fix this year, so planning to attend. Will drive over Friday and stay in the Asheville area. Anyone up for a kilt night that night?

That sounds like a plan. Our usual kilt night Pub has a Blues band playing that night, but they won't get cranked up until about 9 PM, so maybe that will be the spot.

How about details of how to get there and a time? We are driving over from New Bern and staying in Hendersonville.

Where're you staying?
From Hooterville, you'll just come down 26 west toward Asheville, take I-240 into the downtown area, exit at Patton Avenue go two lights and the bar is on your left...at the light at the bar hang a right and park in the post office parking lot. Total mileage will be about 12-18 depending on where you are laying your head.

Or...Bill, there is an Irish pub somewhere on the streets of Hooterville. We could break in a new one...
Thoughts?
Anybody else coming up the night before? Anyone staying for the ceilidh?

I'm trying to make it. Somebody pick a spot to meet since it'll be our first trip to the Foothills.
