Going for My Fourth!
I did it! At first my wife said, "No, not another," when I mentioned this a month or so ago. But when we got home from church, I had on my USA Kilt in the Buccleuch tartan, I showed her the tartans for the USA Casual kilt. I mentioned I liked the dark blues, purples or greens. She agreed.
By then I had changed clothes as I was going to be doing some work out side and didn't want to snag it on branches or brush while putting up my popular Christmas Light Show stuff. She looked at the sample images and pointed out the American Heritage and said she liked that. She read the description, and liked what the colors represented. Our daughter is in the army, and we have had others in our family in the military, including me. She went to grab my kilt to see how those colors looked, and was surprised I had changed.
I used the rush service as I always decide these things later in the year when they are busy. Rocky talked me into the matching flashes too, which I would have forgotten about. I should have it in a couple of weeks. I hope my measurements were right because now with a little belly coming on, (just can't seem to get rid of it) my hips and waist are the same size.
I will post pictures later.
DALE.

Isn't it great when the ladies decide we need new kilts?

Aw the inequity! We (men) would never presume to tell our wives what to wear, or when they could buy a new frock. But we need to go through all kinds of machinations to keep peace in the household.
Maybe, just maybe - We need to start saying things like: “Dear? Does this kilt make me look fat?” or “Which kilt goes with these shoes?” or “Do you think that this color of green flashes go with the Weathered MacDurvish, or should I change my hose?”
Maybe then we wouldn’t have so many problems?

I've always thought it should be...when our spouses complain about our pending kilt (because we WILL get it, right?)..."Dear, are you saying my kilt makes YOU look fat?"

I just couldn't use that one. No guts! Plus, I like to sleep soundly at night, not with one eye open.

My wife did comment on how slimming my newest kilt (Black Watch military high rise) is... and I'm pretty slim to begin with. Perhaps there is some merit to this... Now that she's seen me in a quality wool kilt, maybe I can talk her into a tank...?
Congrats on number four. My newest makes four for me as well.
