Returning from Iraq

Hey all, 45 days and counting to return to states from Mosul, Iraq. I have been a member of a MiTT, Armyese for Military Transition Team. Just want all to know we thank the support we have gotten from home, we are in fact winning this thing and the bad guys are on the run. They still blow up stuff, but the population is now PO'd and turning them in left right and center. Can't wait to get back and wear my kilts again. Imagine i will be asking for some good sources to alter them a bit. Out here. Hugh

Hugh, come safe home!
I cannot help thinking that without you Americans, having during WWII, fought for us Europeans - and many, many of you having given your lives - Europe had been deemed to slavery and barbarity under a Nazi or Communist regime. I was born some months before the war ended. My country was occupied by the Germans and during my childhood my parents often told me about their fears for five years.
I grew up in freedom. And for that I’m very, very grateful. Only free men can wear what they want to – and a lot of other things.
