    Newbie from So Cal

Just got my UK Survival delivered today and can't wait to wear it. NOthing like standing out in a crowd.

BTW - what's the preferred belt width for one of those?

As for belt widths I use belts that are 2"s wide, one black and one brown, I use them for both my contemporary kilts and when worn casually my traditional kilts.

Welcome from the North of the state. I generally wear a 1 3/4" wide belt with my UKs, 2" would be good too. Anything much larger won't fit the belt loops.

    Best regards,

    Welcome to the rabble!

    from Sunny Southern California.......

I'm in Oceanside - Where are you?

As to your belt question. Most of us wear a wider belt than normal. Some up to 3 1/2 inches. Most kilt belts that I have are around 2 to 2 1/2 inches.

Many "traditional" kilts don't have belt loops some do. Of those that have belt loops, most are larger than normal. For the UK's a good work belt should look fine.

    again
