Paisley Kilt at Housing Assoc. Conference Peebles Hydro

First opportunity to photograph the Paisley tartan 17oz 8 yard kilt in daylight during lunchbreak at the Housing Association Conference. I am a board member of a charitable housing association which provides houses to tenants at affordable rents and today was our Conference at Peebles Hydro followed by Christmas dinner.

The venue was Peebles Hydro, a 129 bedroom four star hotel built in 1881.

On the steps leading up from the putting green to the hotel entrance

    The grand staircase

    Dance Hall/Lecture Theatre

The Grand Dining Hall, prepared for the Housing Association Christmas Dinner earlier this evening.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

Wow! What a fantastic hotel. That's one place where the rent definitely does not look affordable. I'm officially jealous. The kilt looks great, too.

Grant! Stop squirming in your chair and trying to dip Star's pigtails in the inkwell, or I'll have to come over with the ruler.

Q: when did they change the name to the current spelling of Paisley?

    Alex,

Nice tartan. Nice hotel as well. Reminds me a bit of some of the Canadian hotels...
