    Ringtones

Does anyone have bagpipes as their cell phone ringtones?

If so, where did you get them from? Do you like them, or do they sound "muddy?"

I recorded some at an event this past fall that I have used. Yes, in this case they are pretty muddy. I should have stood a bit further away and it would have sounded better. Plus I missed the first couple of notes...but I had just gotten the phone, so that's my excuse.
    I don't know of anything pre-produced.

I tried downloading bagpipe ring tones once. They all sounded too muddy. Might have been the phone wasn't up to the task, though.

    Best regards,

I have a LG 3600 it is the flip version of their chocolate phone, I have Scotland the Brave set as my default ring tone. I purchased it on Verizons web site, since I have verizon wireless it was easy. Did it over my phone, went to get new ring tones, searched for Nations songs and found it there, the bagpipes sound pretty good, at least when my phone goes off everyone knows that its mine and its playing bagpipes.

I have Highland Cathedral on mine. I found a freeware program that allows you to cut a section from a CD and upload to your phone. Unfortunately I did not keep a record of how I did it. Sorry.

Do you know the name of that freeware program? I have many CD's I'd like to get a snip of for a ring tone.

If anyone has a Blackberry I'd be more than happy to send them Scotland the Brave as a ringtone.

I have a bagpipe ringtone too. I cut mine from an MP3, using freeware also. Try Googling "Ringtone Making"
