Kilted Clergy Question

Hey, there ladies and gents!
I had a question pop into my head, so I figured I should ask it...
do any of you kilted clergy persons have a kilt to go along with each of the liturgical seasons/liturgical colors?
I'm not planning to do this myself, but I thought it was a fun thought (I jokingly said to the Sister I live with a while back, "Gee, I need a purple kilt for advent!")...and now that Lent is almost upon us, I wonder if any of you actually DO do this?

SO, my questions are: Do have "liturgi-kilts", and if so, which tartan for which seasons...OR, if you don't have "liturgi-kilts", what tartans do you think best for each season?

For those of us who do serve liturgically without using vestments, that's not a bad idea! I have often wished that women lectors would do something like that. Do you think that the Scottish National would fit into the season?

I usually wear an alb when performing the Work of God, so I don't see it happening anytime soon, but it's a thought. Tell you what, Sister, when you get one, so will I!!

Going by the original post, I think this was not directed at me, being a pagan minister and all, but I thought I would chime in. so her goes- I do not have a kilt for any Christian season obviously, not being Christian. However, I do have a variety of kilts that can match any just about all color schemes. I specialize in Celtic style weddings- handfasting, Neo Druid and Wiccan ceremonies. I also do historical period themed weddings. I have a white Druid robe and a great kilt for example. I am in the process of writing a ceremony
themed on the legends of the White Ladies of Scotland, particularly the legends surrounding Rosslyn Chapel. So as to particular colors to match seasons, no. But I do have a few matching different themes.

I'm definitely thinking for under your vestments, gents! No going "regimental" under the vestments allowed!!

I'm not sure if guys are into this, but lots of times I see ladies wear the color of the liturgical season in their clothes for meetings, etc. For example one might wear a purple jacket for Advent or Lent, or a red one for Pentecost, or lots of folks wear white on Easter, etc. - this could definitely extend to kilts! "The more kilts the merrier", right?
I know some guys wear "themed" ties...but only because they are not kilt wearers, I'm sure!

My dad is a Catholic. He has a whole range of holiday themed ties. I stole one of his Christmas ones this year to wear with my Black Stewart. It looked really good I thought.

And thanks for the "You count as well" statement. I have had more than one Christian (like my sister in law for example) tell me that I can't be real clergy because I'm pagan. Heck, she can't wrap her brain around the fact that Catholic are Christian, but that's another matter for another thread. I just appreciate an open mind.

"liturgi-kilts"! I love it! While my church doesn't do classic liturgical services, I'll have to work that in to my sermon next time I preach. (I usually wear a kilt when I do.")

No. The Vestments cover up whatever one is wearing as regular clothes. The Kilt is not a Liturgical vestment. But perhaps some non-vested Protestant Ministers might have a stab at it.
Royal Stewart (Red) for Pentecost/Martyrs etc. Irish National (Green) for Ordinary Time, Pride of Scotland (Violet) for Lent & Advent. Maybe Saffron ("gold") for Christmas, Easter etc. Black watch for funerals, Clergy for weddings & everything else???
Might start a whole new "Reformation" in fashion instead of doctrine. Cute idea, but the rest of us have to stick with our 2,000 year-old vesture. (No pleats to sweep).
