    Multi-tasking

Red_Raven_Studio's son was recently appointed commander of the cadet color guard for the local Civil Air Patrol unit. They have a big ceremony going on soon. At the moment I'm sitting at my laptop, listening to him out in the kitchen, washing dishes and practicing commands at the same time.

Tell him to get a copy of the Marine Corps drill manual. Covers just about everything.

Except that the services have minor differences in their drill and ceremony. Instead get the Air Force manual, since the Civil Air Patrol drill is the same as the Air Force.

I've been a member of the Civil Air Patrol for a little over a year and a half now. It's a great organization, and for the most part the cadets are some of the sharpest teens you'll ever find.
