From noon to 5:00, McGregor Winery on Keuka Lake will be celebrating Robert Burns' Day with Scottish food, music, all that. Kilts, naturally, are encouraged.

That sounds wonderful and close enough to travel to. Unfortunately, I've got to work.

I'm going to bookmark the site and plan to be there next year, though. Maybe a road trip for the Twin Tiers Kilt Club...

I recently visited McGregor Winery while on a bus tour. It definitely wears it's Scottish heritage on it's sleeve. I'd love to go on Saturday but I have to attend a birthday party for my nephew in Syracuse that afternoon. I doubt I'd make it to the winery before the festivities were over. Enjoy a glass of vino for me!
